While many of us feel depressed and caught up in their own reality, this series takes us on an adventurous journey to places, where sometimes happiness appears least likely to be found. The geographical thread of this TV series is the Tropic of Cancer, which cuts through countries, among which the differences couldn’t be greater. Southern China, Hawaii, deserts in Mali and finally Calcutta in India. The “heroes” of the films are rich and poor, alone and in love, old and young.
